Especially with his ability to spread the floor with his blazing shooting and use his ball-handling skills to produce some deft basket finishes. Toronto has moved one step closer to returning to postseason contention now that they view Gary Trent Jr. as a player they want to retain long-term.
Khem Birch, Power Forward/Center:
Khem Birch showed a lot of potential after a significant jump in productivity during the 2023-21 season, and the Raptors took note by re-signing the youthful combo big. Birch has rapidly developed into a great two-way big who can offer the Raptors with dependable frontcourt depth going ahead, averaging 11.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.2 blocks while shooting 55.6 percent from the floor this season.
Even though he still has a long way to go before being considered one of the NBA’s top big men, Birch has proven that he has the potential to become one of the league’s best big men. His continued development and contributions to the club will pay off handsomely in the near future, giving the Raptors a full rotation capable of contending for a championship in the coming years.
